Vibrant Life began in 2014 as a small group of 8 people doing life together through bible study and prayer. In September of that same year, the group began meeting on Sunday mornings for worship through prayer, praise and preaching. This marked the start of a new Church connected through faith and fellowship while serving together to lead people to Christ one life at a time.
In the beginning, the Lord allowed a home in Wylie, Texas to be our first sanctuary. As membership increased, it facilitated the search for a new worship site. In January 2015, the Lord opened a door for the Church to begin meeting temporarily at the former location of Sachse Christian Church. It was here that our Spiritual Life Training Ministry was started for children and adults to learn the Bible through systematic study. Later that same year, the Church was informed that the property had been sold and we would need to relocate as soon as possible. However, within a few short weeks, the Lord led the Church to a new location on the campus of Sachse First Baptist, where we currently continue connecting through faith and fellowship.
A vital part of our fellowship is to collectively connect our hearts and minds in worship to Jesus Christ. This is an expression of our faith in thanksgiving to who God is and for what He has done in the life of our Church.
A necessity of our faith is the on going process of spiritual growth. The aim is to be transformed into brand new people after the likeness of Jesus Christ.
It is important to our Church to display our connection to Christ through reaching out to those in need of hope. We pray that our active involvement in the community will lead people toward life with Jesus Christ.
We offer Sunday worship for our guests and members to connect transformationally with the Lord.
Every Wednesday evening our fellowship is designed for personal growth by connecting the Bible to life in a meaningful way.
We live out our faith regularly by serving people in need of hope both inside and outside of our Church.
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, truthful and authoritative word of God for our Christian faith and practice.
We believe that there is One God who eternally exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each having the same nature, yet distinct in relationship and worthy of the same worship and confidence.
We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God in the flesh and fully man, born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He was crucified to give His life as payment for the penalty of our sins and was raised bodily from the dead on the third day. Forty days later He ascended to the Father's right hand where He is Head of the Church and intercedes for all believers.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, possessing all the divine characteristics. He convicts us of sin, lives inside us, teaches us, and equips us for ministry. He seals us at the moment of salvation and conforms us to the image of Christ.
We believe that mankind is the special creation of God, made in His own image, who had perfect relationship and fellowship with God but lost it by being tempted and choosing to sin. As a result we believe that all men and women are born separated from God and in need of salvation. The only way to be forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God is through repentance and faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross.
We believe that the Church is made up of all persons who have come to trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation. He is the head and source of all life to the Church which has been called to carry out the God-given tasks of worshiping, fellowshipping; teaching, evangelizing and exercising their spiritual gifts for the glory of God.
We believe that the aim of the Christian life is to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. As a new creation, the Christian learns to grow in faith, in obedience, in prayer, in fellowship and in a life of service to God.
We believe in the sudden physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth to establish his kingdom. He will judge the world, reward all believers and rule throughout all eternity. This is the blessed hope of the Church and the encouragement necessary to continue in faith and ministry.
